Training for the instrument rated pilot who is 6 months out of IFR currency, leading to IPC endorsement:

 

Ground Instruction ( 4 hours) - Review of items in Advanced Instrument Refresher, appropriate FAR’s pertaining to IFR flight and currency and appropriate knowledge areas of Instrument Rating PTS.

 

Simulator Training ( 4 hours) – Areas of operation from Instrument Rating PTS and items from Advanced Instrument Refresher.

 

Completion Standards – Demonstrates and maintain Instrument Rating PTS standards.

 

Flight Training to include:

Takeoff and landing

Circling approaches

Any additional maneuvers and procedures required by the instructor in order to qualify for the IPC endorsement.
